...playing in the snow...

It started snowing here last night and continued on and off all night. When we woke up this morning, it was snowing and continued until around noon. This was, by far, the best snow this winter....and Kamryn enjoyed playing in it. She didn't last very long outside this morning because she was so cold. We decided to go back out later in the day when it was warmer but most of the snow was melting. She still had a blast!
The snow is beautiful....but, I am personally ready for warmer weather. However, if it is going to be cold-might as well have some beautiful snow!

A NOTE FROM KAMRYN

I have been a busy little bee over the last month that Mama has failed to post. She sends her apologies. :) I am getting around so much and I am (usually) very independent. I say "usually" because this does not include the times Mama and Daddy tried to drop me off in the gym's daycare.....I don't like that at all. I refuse to stay in that place for one minute....so my plan was to cry and cry until Mama and Daddy gave up and came back to get me. It worked wonderfully. :) Now, I get to go to Grandaddy's, Aunt Jenny's, or Mawmaw's to play while Mama and Daddy go work out. It worked out for everyone. ;)

Just for your enjoyment...here are a few pictures of me playing.

"Here I am hiding from Mama and Daddy...Mama found me! "

"I am getting very good at riding my 4-wheeler."

"I can even do tricks on it! :)"
Have a great weekend everyone. I am off to play some more! :)
LOVE,
KAMRYN

PS: I want to add that I enjoyed watching my first Superbowl game last weekend. You could find me cheering for the Saints throughout the game (when I wasn't distracted by food or playing). GEAUX SAINTS!

...visitors this weekend...

My friend, Angela, and her son, Dylan, came to visit this weekend. I enjoyed seeing my sweet friend that I have missed-oh-so-much……and Kamryn and Dylan enjoyed playing with each other. We must plan another visit soon!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I can't believe it is 2010! I'm not even comfortable saying 2009 yet....I've just stopped writing 2008 on checks! I'm trying so hard to catch up!

We shot a few fireworks on New Year's Eve...minus Jimmy because he had to work. I hated that he wasn't with us to start the new year, but what can you do? After shooting some fireworks, Kamryn and I came home early to ring in the new year with some nice SLEEP! :)

Kamryn really enjoyed the fireworks....she wasn't afraid of them at all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE AGUILAR FAMILY!

...Santa came EARLY...

I LOVE CHRISTMAS! Each year, I can’t wait to put up our tree (I don’t want to take it down either) I also sing “Silent Night” to Kamryn all year long. Some people have to “get into the Christmas spirit”…. "the Christmas spirit” never leaves me! :) Being with family during this time of year just warms the soul. It really is “the most wonderful time of the year”. The time that we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

But boy oh boy…is this time of year busy or what?!! We have such a large family; we have to start super early with all of our “get-togethers”. Let’s see….it’s December 21, 2009 and we have already had FIVE Christmases….PLUS we asked Santa to come see us early this year due to Jimmy having to work on Christmas…and he AGREED! Santa was very generous to Kamryn this year….leaving her: a wagon, an activity table, books, movies, and many other fun toys! I wasn’t expecting her to have much of a reaction, but she did! She walked into the living room, she saw all of her toys sitting under the tree and her face lit up! She was smiling and looked at me, then Jimmy, as if to say “For me?”. Then she walked over and played with each toy!

Having children REALLY does bring the greatest joy back into Christmas. Seeing it all through their eyes is amazing. Here are some pictures….and we still have a few more places to visit to celebrate with other friends and family, SO MORE TO COME, I’m sure! :)

Look at everything Santa left for sweet Kamryn.

She is trying the wagon out.

This was a BIG HIT.

She couldn't believe all of these new toys were for her!

Concentrating.

Going for a ride with Alyssa and Ashlyn.

This little girl is having such a good time!

Her Grandaddy bought her a 4-wheeler!

Like I said, there will be more to come....until then, Merry Christmas!

Mississippi Weather

Today, it was much warmer than usual. (Well, what is considered the norm for Mississippi weather? One day, a few weeks ago, we had snow and two days later there were threats of tornadoes. One day it'll be freezing, the next 70 degrees. What's normal anymore?) Anyway, since it was warmer...I took Kamryn out to play. We only stayed out for about 5 minutes or so...she has been a little sick, so I knew we shouldn't over do it. She just hasn't been able to walk around much outside since she learned to walk because it has been cold. So, today, we took advantage and enjoyed a nice stroll around the yard...

...she didn't care if I caught up or not. She was having a great time...

"See the pinecone?"

Of course, she had to go say hey to her boys!

...loves to read...

I ALWAYS find Kamryn in her room doing this. She will drag out a bunch of her books and sit there and "read". I love this; I hope she continues to like reading as she gets older.
