The fair was here last weekend and we decided to take Kamryn (and Daddy wanted to go...because he's a big kid at heart). The weather was perfect and we all had fun! Jimmy, Kamryn, and I met my parents, Jimmy's sister and her two daughters there. Unfortunately, Kamryn wasn't big enough for any rides other than the carousel...but she didn't mind. She had so much fun anyway! She also picked the little ducks from the water for a prize...she got a cute little stuffed monkey. Jimmy and I even rode a couple of rides together...and I've discovered that I am getting old! I just could not stomach those rides like I did as a child....thankfully, I did not get sick...but I felt pretty bad at one point. We are in trouble when Kamryn is older and wants us to ride everything with her! Here are a few pictures from our day of fun at the fair!

...I'm such a big girl...
First things first: Yesterday Jimmy and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. (Well, we had date night Saturday....but THE BIG DAY was officially yesterday.) These past 2 years have been wonderful...marriage is not always easy...but it is definitely worth every second spent putting time and effort into it. I love our life together more than words can describe.
I love you, babe!

Here are a couple of pictures of Kamryn. Here she is LOVING this green apple sucker!
I needed to get some short clips to put on here of Kamryn....so I recorded these two while she was eating dinner tonight.
In this one, she is attempting to feed herself. She's still learning! :)
...and here she is doing "patty-cake". All we need to do is say "patty-cake" or "yaaaaaay" and she starts clapping. She's the cutest, ever! :)

...finally, new stuff...
I am horrible at keeping this blog updated. There are many new things going on with our little Kamryn. She is waving “bye bye”, giving kisses, and crawling. Yes, I said crawling…I still can’t believe it! One day she made just a couple of “crawl steps” and fell…two days later she was all over the house!
Here she is climbing on our end table. She gets in there and just sits…silly girl!

Kamryn is almost 8 months…I really love this age. She is always being silly and exploring everything. She follows me around the house now. (It takes her a little longer to get from room to room than it does me….and sometimes she doesn’t quite make it into the room before I come out. She just turns around and follows me again…backtracking where she just came from.)
Sorry it's short....I'll try to post more this weekend!

Yes, that's a deer!
Kamryn is now 7 months. A couple of new things she is doing since last month: she is now pulling up (mostly on me when I'm sitting in the floor with her), eating babyfood like a champ-everything from green beans to carrots to bananas, and last but not least, she said "Dada" (which absolutely melts our hearts, especially her Daddy's).
Since it has been awhile since I've posted....here are a couple of pictures of Kamryn just hanging out at the house today. I'll post more soon...I just want you to see how she is growing!

Happy 6 Month Birthday, Sweet Kamryn
I'm shocked! I know parents always say this....but, I can not believe Kamryn is 6 months old! My goodness, I REALLY can not believe it! You bring them home from the hospital after they are born...pretty much just eating and sleeping. Then you wake up one day and they are rolling around and "talking" to you....half way to turning 1...oh, I can't think about that. It's going by way too fast!
I also know that all parents think everything their child does is nothing short of a miracle. Well, I am no different. :) Since, she is 6 months, and this is a pretty big milestone....I'll share with you guys some of the things my lil' punkin likes these days:
....Taking walks in her stroller.
...She always loves talking to random people in the store and flashing them big smiles.
...Talking! She has so much to say. (The other day in Wal-mart, while Kamryn is talking away[somewhat loudly-by the way] a lady came over to us in the aisle. She said she "followed the sound of the happy baby". She said she just had to meet that happy baby. So Kamryn, of course, flashes the lady a big smile. My daughter is precious.)
...She truly loves our two dogs Rebel and Koby. We take her outside to "play" with them all the time. She watches them like a hawk....and wants so badly to be put down in the grass to roll around and play with them. [or so SHE thinks...Rebel is a boxer and way too much dog for her. :) ]
...Kamryn spends most of her time in the floor on her blanket, just rolling around and playing with her toys. She loves doing this, but thinks Mama should play too...or at least be in the room. If I try to walk out of the room for one second...she let's me know very quickly that I need to come back. Oh boy...that may be trouble later. :)
...She loves to eat! :) At this point, she has had Green Beans, Squash and Carrots. She loves them all...her first encounter with squash was not a very positive one. She made (hilarious) faces and even refused to open her mouth. Next try was much better, and she now likes them. I hope she always enjoys those veggies! :/
...Bath-time is a good-time! When I say "She loves bath time." I mean it! She knows when it's coming too....we put her on her changing table to undress her....and she starts smiling and kicking her legs.
...loves books. We read all the time. Sometimes, she even reads to ME! :)
...going for rides in the car are always exciting adventures for Kamryn. She gets up on her elbows to look out the window. I think if she weren't strapped in, she would find a way to get out of that car seat.
...Kamryn loves to get right in your face while you talk to her. She will cup your face in her hands and listen to your story.
...this baby loves getting kisses from Mama and Daddy...but not nearly as much as we love to give them!
...by now, she has discovered squealing, and does it all day.
...she loves to laugh. If you're not laughing, she'll look at you and laugh....it's very contagious and soon you'll be laughing too. Also, if no one in the room is giving her attention and she wants it- she'll either talk loudly or squeal to get your attention...then she'll flash a huge gummy smile at you.
...speaking of "gummy smile"... I'm afraid that will soon be gone. :( I noticed today, that it looks like a tooth is about to come in. You can't feel it yet, but I see it. Oh, well...it is bound to happen sooner or later, but it's more proof that she won't be a baby forever. :(
I'll stop with that. I can go on for days. I could have never even imagined the love that I have for Kamryn. She is an amazing baby. She has such a sweet, funny personality....she makes ME laugh all day! I am so thankful that I am able to stay at home to raise her...because I don't want to miss a second of her. She discovers something new all the time and is constantly changing....I get to watch her discover the world-thanks to my wonderful husband. The past 6 months have just flown by! I guess the next 6 will go by just as fast.....time to start planning the 1st birthday party, I suppose. :)

lovin' on my puppies
Kamryn loves her puppies....Koby and Rebel. Koby is the small Pom-cha and Rebel is the Boxer... that is surprisingly almost hidden behind the Pom-cha in the second picture (go figure). This baby LOVES to be taken out to "play" with Koby and Rebel. She laughs (literally, out loud) at everything they do. I think it is the most precious thing because I remember my childhood pet fondly....and I know there are lots of fun times to be had between Kamryn, Koby and Rebel. :)
