Fall Family Pictures

We had our fall family pictures taken the other day with Sukie Philyaw. (If anyone is looking for someone to do theirs in or around Kosciusko, I highly recommend her.) Kamryn had a blast playing in the leaves and trying to tell us about all of the cool things she was seeing. She has started doing that a lot in the last couple of weeks: she'll point at something and starting rambling on and on....boy I wish I could understand her because she gets so excited about whatever she is saying! :)
(Note: I'm not sure why the quality of the picture is low on the blog....but if you click on the picture to enlarge it, the image clears up. )

We hope everyone has a very

Trick or Treat

We hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween this year! I'm so behind on posting our Halloween pictures, I know. Kamryn was a pink bunny this year; the costume came complete with a carrot and all! She was SO adorable, if I do say so myself. :)

...yes, I took my first step...

It has been so long since my last blog; I do not know where to start. Little Miss Kamryn is SUCH a busy lil thing these days (yes, I know it will only get "worse"). I DO LOVE THIS AGE! She is not only crawling everywhere....she is now attempting to walk! Yes, WALK! She has her little walker that she pushes around when she wants to get somewhere fast...but, she is also taking two or three steps on her on. I wasn't ready for this, guys! I thought I had a couple more months to prepare myself....guess again! She's is growing up SO fast....I'm already getting things ready for her FIRST BIRTHDAY! Didn't we just come home from the hospital....like, three months ago?!

Anyway, she is getting a mouth full of teeth. She has three on the bottom, two on the top, and I expect a third top tooth will break through in a day or two. Other than the annoying teeth coming in....Kamryn is the happiest baby ever! I'm not just saying this because she's mine....everyone says it. They want to know if she ever cries. Of course, this makes me happy....but I still have to smile to myself because....boy oh boy...does she have a temper! (Yes, I'll admit it, she gets it from her mama!) She really is such a joy to us....and she is FUNNY! I find myself laughing at her all day! She has developed this "fake laugh" that she uses when she is trying to make us laugh. The "fake laugh" itself is so stinkin' funny, you can't help but laugh!

I have included a few pictures....

Here she is standing up, playing.

This is Kamryn's friend, Austin. You should see these two play....they will crawl around and chase each other around the house! So funny!

Here she is playing with her walker that is such a big help in her mobility! Judging by the look on her face, I disturbed her while she was playing. I'm sure she's thinking, "What, paparazzi, what?!" :)

...just being silly, as usual...

I had some yard work to do today, so I put her in this walker because she's not as quick in this one....especially in the grass. She had fun just watching me work! :)

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today is Jimmy's birthday.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)
We are so sad that he is away at work and can't spend his day with him. But, we do hope you had a great day...even though you are at work. We love and miss you VERY much. Kamryn wanted to tell her Daddy "happy birthday" herself....so here she goes...

...rain...rain...rain...and more rain...

It has rained for over two weeks straight and more is to come....so our days have been spent being cooped up in the house. It doesn't bother Kamryn much because she usually has Austin to play with during the day...or Mama will get down and crawl around with her (yes, I do...and she LOVES it...she laughs and gets SO excited). We did get out the other day for a day of shopping; we had fun, even though it was raining.

Here are some pictures of us shopping. Here is Kamryn "riding" the tricycle.

"I can ALMOST reach the pedals."

"What, Daddy?"

Here Kamryn is having some delish watermelon. Yum, yum!

In more exciting news: we dedicated Kamryn to the Lord two weekends ago. The actual “day of dedication” at church consisted of prayer, presentation of the parents and children being dedicated, and a Certificate of Dedication; but, for us it was the personal promise to God by Jimmy and me that was so special. Jimmy and I are well aware of the huge responsibility we have before us to raise Kamryn in a way pleasing to the Lord. We have to start teaching her about Jesus and His love for her now….and keep her in church and thirsty for knowledge. I know this task is not one to be taken lightly….as it is very easy to get off track in this world we live in. We pray for guidance, knowledge, and strength to raise her right and give her the tools she will need for a good Christian foundation.

Fair Fun!

The fair was here last weekend and we decided to take Kamryn (and Daddy wanted to go...because he's a big kid at heart). The weather was perfect and we all had fun! Jimmy, Kamryn, and I met my parents, Jimmy's sister and her two daughters there. Unfortunately, Kamryn wasn't big enough for any rides other than the carousel...but she didn't mind. She had so much fun anyway! She also picked the little ducks from the water for a prize...she got a cute little stuffed monkey. Jimmy and I even rode a couple of rides together...and I've discovered that I am getting old! I just could not stomach those rides like I did as a child....thankfully, I did not get sick...but I felt pretty bad at one point. We are in trouble when Kamryn is older and wants us to ride everything with her! Here are a few pictures from our day of fun at the fair!

...I'm such a big girl...

First things first: Yesterday Jimmy and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. (Well, we had date night Saturday....but THE BIG DAY was officially yesterday.) These past 2 years have been wonderful...marriage is not always easy...but it is definitely worth every second spent putting time and effort into it. I love our life together more than words can describe.
I love you, babe!

Here are a couple of pictures of Kamryn. Here she is LOVING this green apple sucker!

I needed to get some short clips to put on here of Kamryn....so I recorded these two while she was eating dinner tonight.

In this one, she is attempting to feed herself. She's still learning! :)

...and here she is doing "patty-cake". All we need to do is say "patty-cake" or "yaaaaaay" and she starts clapping. She's the cutest, ever! :)
