Jack: 1 month

I really can't believe Jack is 1 month. It seems like we were just in the hospital just last week. It amazes me how you can fall so deeply in love with someone before you ever lay eyes on them....and then that it is possible to fall deeper in love when you hold them in your arms. Jack is such a blessing!

Christmas

Christmas was a success this year. Our celebration started about 2 weeks before Christmas while Jimmy was still at home. Santa agreed to make a special trip to the kids so Daddy could be home for everything. Thank you Santa....we couldn't imagine doing it with Daddy home!!

precious moments

These days, however tiring and crazy, are the most precious days, as a mother, I will get. Children are most definitely God's gift to us. My prayer is that I can raise, mold, and shape these two gifts in a way that would be pleasing to God.

To share some of our quiet and precious moments...

Kamryn's Christmas Program

Kamryn had her Christmas program at school on Friday. Everyone did so good! I wish that I would have played around with the lighting on my camera before the program started because the pictures didn't turn out to well.

I was so proud of these precious kids!

Hello World!

Jack Parker made his grand arrival November 27, 2011. We thought that we had his birthday planned out for December 1, 2011 but Jack had plans of his own. Friday and Saturday were busy shopping days for me. Saturday night, I settled in on the couch with Kamryn for a movie....I was exhausted! I rested for maybe 10 minutes before my water broke. I thought "Oh no...not tonight...tonight is NOT the night... Jimmy is at work...it's raining cats and dogs...I need to clean the house tomorrow...JIMMY IS AT WORK...TONIGHT IS NOT THE NIGHT. Period. Needless to say, I had no say so. I called my mom freaking out a little. She told me to call Jimmy so he could get a flight home and to call the doctor to tell them we were coming in. When I told him it was time, Jimmy freaked out a little and rushed off the phone to book the first available flight. After I made the phone calls and finished packing up our bags, my dad was at my house to take Kamryn and my mom was there to take me.

As we made our way to Jackson, I still wasn't convinced we were having a baby....until the contractions started about 20 minutes into the drive. Jimmy's flight was scheduled to arrive in Jackson at 9:15 am Sunday. Jack arrived at 6:46 am. My mom was with me, bless her! I don't know what I would do without her.

Daddy didn't make it....talking to Jimmy on the phone while holding his son while he was stuck in Houston waiting on his flight was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.

Kamryn was IN LOVE!

Kamryn's 3rd Birthday Party

Kamryn chose a Snow White birthday party this year complete with "Dopey Dogs", "Sneezy's Cheesy Cheetos", "Happy's Ham & Cheese Sandwiches", and "Doc's Dwarf Sized Pizza". We rented her a princess bounce house and she really enjoyed her day!

Happy Birthday Kamryn

Our sweet girl turns 3 today. It warms my heart to see the kind and beautiful little girl she is becoming but it breaks my heart to know that she is growing up and is no longer my little baby girl. I just wish I could stop the clock.

We had her birthday party a few weeks ago. She had a blast! (I still need to post those pictures.) Today when we woke up, we sang the birthday girl "happy birthday" and gave her her very own PSP (aka Leapster), ate birthday cake for breakfast, and spent the day in our PJs.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAMRYN! WE LOVE YOU MORE AND MORE!
LOVE,
MAMA, DADDY AND JACK
