Our tradition is to buy a new ornament each year to place on our tree that holds some personal meaning in our lives overall as a whole or at that specific moment. This is the one we bought this year. I think, by far, this one holds the most precious message yet.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words....

"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth"

Birthday Party!!

We celebrated Kamryn's 2nd Birthday this past weekend. She had a blast! She will officially be 2 December 10th....and I can't believe it! Didn't I just bring her home from the hospital yesterday? When we pulled away from the hospital that day, almost 2 years ago....I remember thinking:
"I can't believe they are letting us leave the hospital with this precious baby and take her HOME!! Do they know we have no clue about being parents? Wait we are parents...this is our baby. I love her and that, in the least, is enough. Right? But what if it's not? What if we aren't any good at being Mama and Daddy? We have to take care of her and make sure she is happy and healthy. Oh my!"
As you can see my thoughts were all over the place. But being Kamryn's Mama was the most natural thing ever. It was as if I had been born to be her Mama! And Jimmy has been the best Daddy to her! He loves that little girl more than I ever imagined was possible. We are thankful to God for blessing our lives with the greatest love: the love between a parent and their child!
THE BEAUTIFUL BIRTHDAY GIRL!

TOGA!

We had Toga night at Awana...here is Miss Kamryn in her toga. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a very good picture because she was in a terrible mood. This is the face she gave me in each picture...if I was lucky enough to have her even look at me. Ms. Sherlene said she got some good pictures of her so I can't wait to see them. She won best Toga. :)

Big Girl Bed

We've been talking about getting Kamryn a toddler bed for some time now. We finally took the plunge and bought her one a couple of weeks ago. She loves it! She has only fell out of it twice now. I also love the fact that she hasn't taken it upon herself to get out of it. She goes to bed easily and still sleeps all night. When it's time to get up, she calls out for me to come tell her she can get up. What a lovely child.

"Bye-Bye Crib." :(

"Hello Big Girl Bed!"

Little Pirate

Yes, I am over a month late in posting this, but I came across these pictures on my camera and realized I never posted them.

Kamryn was a sassy little pirate for Halloween this year.
