Our lives are not easy, everyone knows that. Some may think as Christians, we are free from trials, troubles, or temptations....this couldn't be farther from the truth. But Christians DO have something that can make those trials, troubles, or temptations easier to overcome-GOD.

"...in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." -John 16:33

"He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord." -Psalms 112:7

"Do not be afraid." -Matthew 28:10

"Peace be with you." -Luke 24:36

There is promise after promise after promise in the Bible from God telling us to just trust in Him. Pray about your trials, troubles, and temptations and turn them over to God. Be patient and trust in HIM that they WILL be taken care of.

When we got home from church Sunday, I made Kamryn some lunch. I left her at the table to eat while I finished some work around the house. When she became suddenly quiet, I came back to find this......

...new addition to the family...

Yes, we have a new addition to our little family. We have adopted another Boxer. Her name is Bella and she is the sweetest little lady. The previous owners told us she was 1 1\2 but by looking at her we don't believe that is the case....we think her age is between 6 months-1 yr. I have to say, I was a bit apprehensive about bringing her home because she has been with another family-and you never know how one treats their animals. When it comes to dogs (especially dogs that will some day weigh 100 pounds) I can't take chances. Jimmy was very persuasive and she is SO SWEET....and she and Kamryn hit it off immediately and have become the best of friends.
