EASTER WEEKEND

We had such a wonderful Easter weekend. Thursday night Jimmy, my Dad, and I went to the Passion Play. Each year, the Methodist church puts on a play of Jesus's last days prior to the Crucifixion and Resurrection. They always do a great job. Saturday we had Easter Fun at Mawmaw's (my mom). We had an egg hunt and wonderful food on the grill. Here Kamryn is finding an egg!

Saturday night the Easter Bunny made a stop at our house...and he was very generous, leaving her lots of goodies: a dress, shoes, laptop, a bunny, bathing-suit, a book about Easter, shoes, candy, candy, and more candy.

Sunday morning we had to leave early for church...but Kamryn still had time to check out her surprise when she woke up...

This child loves shoes...so here she is checking out the Easter bunny's taste in shoes. He passed the test, I think. :)

After church, we went to Granny and Grandaddy's (Pettit) for more fun! We ate more good food and hid some more eggs. Since Kamryn had some practice the day before she knew what she was doing this time! And she had such a good time playing with her cousins!

I don't have pictures to post tonight....I just wanted to take a second to say HAPPY EASTER to everyone! We have a few Easter functions to attend this weekend so I will have many pictures to post next week. :) Easter is such a wonderful time! I pray everyone remembers the reason we celebrate Easter....the Easter bunny, egg hunts, and candy are all fun....but remember WHY! Jesus suffered and died on the Cross for OUR sins....this opened the doors of Heaven for ME and YOU so that we may enter those gates of Heaven when it's our time to go Home. Thank you God for sending your Son for ME!
