...around here...

Yes, I know I haven't posted all week... nothing too exciting has been going on. We've just been doing the usual...but I will post some pictures of my "lil-punkin" because everyday is exciting and adventurous to a 5 month old. :)

As most of you know, a few months ago, Kamryn wanted NOTHING to do with being on her stomach....well, she loves it now!

She has even turned into a tummy-napper.

And sometimes, when she sleeps like that, she looks like this when she wakes up.

I think she is precious, even with the red marks....but, I do crack up at her when she wakes up looking like this. She has no idea! :)

Like I said, this week has been very laid back (thank goodness), so I'll post more pictures when we have something more exciting going on. I know you guys don't want to see snapshot after snapshot of us just hanging out at the house. ;)

We are counting the days until Jimmy gets home...4 more days! We love and miss you, Daddy!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I want to take a moment to wish all of the mamas out there a very happy mother's day!

Now that I am a mother, mother's day is even more special. Of course, the obvious reason is because I get to reflect on and enjoy being someone's mother on this day. But another reason is because I look at my own mother in a new light this mother's day. I now understand "that love" she has had for me all these years. A mother's love for her child is definately something you need to experience to understand. Through my daughter, I now understand my mother's love for me. I am very blessed because not only is my mom a wonderful mother, she is a constant friend in my life. Thank you, Mama. I love you!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see Jimmy's mom this weekend. Trudy, we want you to know that we were thinking about you and miss you! We hope that you had a very relaxing weekend....you deserve it. We hope to make a trip down to see you very soon. We love you!

Finally a lil taste of cereal!

Kamryn had her first taste of cereal last Thursday. Here are some pictures....I think she enjoyed it but you can judge for yourself... :)

These pictures are priceless! Right now, we are going to stick with cereal. I think we will move on to something new in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned....

...we love our time outside...

I love being outside this time of year. With all of the sunshine and 80 degree weather, we try to do more stuff outside- before it gets unbearably HOT. Kamryn loves it!
