Poor baby had more shots today :(

Today was not the best day for little Kamryn. She had to visit the Dr. for her 4 month shots (she is a little ahead of schedule....she won't be 4 months for another 2 weeks). It broke my heart seeing those big happy blue eyes starring up at me....until she felt the POKE from that NEEDLE! She screamed at the top of her lungs....I wanted to cry. Fortunately, she recovered quickly after a few minutes of whimpering, and has been her normal, happy self since. We're just happy that it is over and we won't need to go back until 6 months.

On a happier note: Kamryn rolled over from her back to her side! Yay! Once on her side, she seemed to like that position...so I'm hoping she'll do it again soon and maybe roll all the way over onto her stomach next time. Remember, Kamryn hates "tummy-time" so this is a big accomplishment for her! Yes, I have made a big deal about it...telling everyone! Of course, would you expect any less!?

On an even happier note: Jimmy came home yesterday! We missed him SO MUCH! See how happy Kamryn is to know Daddy is on his way home!? (hehe)

We are off to Mawmaw's house to play in the country! Last weekend, the weather was WONDERFUL! I just had to take Kamryn out to my mom's house in the country. Kamryn enjoyed the sunshine and she had so much cool stuff to look at!

Happy First Day of Spring!

I am so excited that it is finally SPRING! I can't wait to be outside more with the family. Kamryn just loves to be outside, but it just hasn't been very good weather for that. We have gotten lucky here and there and had a few nice days to go out. So now, we are excited to be able to get out more and explore!

Our little girl is growing up so fast! Last night was the first night for her to sleep in her own room; all by herself…she did wonderful! I put her to bed at 8:00 and she fell fast asleep…I went in to check on her an hour later…she had scooted around and was now laying sideways in her crib. Hhhmmm….interesting? I go back later to check on her again and she had scooted around more….needless to say when she woke up this morning, she had done a complete 360 throughout the night! She was a happy camper when she woke up, so I guess she didn’t loose any sleep with her activity during the night! Here are some pictures from this morning….

...our little angel is three months already...

Welcome us to the world of blogging! :) We have so many friends and family that live so far away...I do not know why we didn't do this sooner. I will try to update this as often as possible, but be patient...I do have a new baby in the house that needs 110% of my attention...at all times! :)

Kamryn was 3 months old on March 10th....WOW!! It seems like yesterday- we were patiently waiting on her big arrival....oh my...she is growing up SO FAST ALREADY! She is such a good baby, I could not ask for anything more. She sleeps 12 hours at night and is full of smiles and giggles during the day. (Well, unless she doesn't get her nap out or if we put her on her stomach....that kid HATES "tummy-time"....she'll NEVER roll over! LOL!)

God has truly blessed me...I don't deserve this amazing life...but I am VERY grateful! First of all, I am married to my best friend...Jimmy is my rock...without him I would be lost. Most times, he is the polar opposite of me... and that is exactly what I need for balance....but of course, this was God's plan...and He knows what He's doing. Secondly, God trusted us with our sweet baby girl! She has such a sweet and innocent soul. I could not imagine my life without her. I live to wake up each morning to that big "gummy smile".
