Life is good, but busy. A couple of recent snapshots....
Kamryn and Jack a couple of Sundays ago.
Jack's first time to church.

2 months on January 27th.

Smiling at his sister. She is his favorite. :)

I ask her all the time..."how did you get so pretty?"

Sheep or Goat?

In my Bible study this morning, I studied Matthew 25:31-46
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.  He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
It is very humbling to think about. Today, most people focus on helping themselves and sometimes their friends and family, but a stranger….rarely a stranger. We should be helping, giving, ministering to everyone, friends and strangers alike. Are you a sheep or a goat?

2 month check up

Kamryn and I took Jack to see the doctor today for his 2 month well baby checkup. Boy do we have a BIG BOY! At 8 weeks, he is now 24 inches long and weighs 13.12 pounds.  J Everything looked great and Jack is progressing wonderfully. He got his shots today L and cried for a couple of seconds, and then he was fine. He has been in some pain this afternoon and hasn’t eaten much but here’s to hoping the Tylenol helps us through the night.
Here are a couple of recent pictures of Kamryn and Jack.

Jack: 1 month

I really can't believe Jack is 1 month. It seems like we were just in the hospital just last week. It amazes me how you can fall so deeply in love with someone before you ever lay eyes on them....and then that it is possible to fall deeper in love when you hold them in your arms. Jack is such a blessing!

Christmas

Christmas was a success this year. Our celebration started about 2 weeks before Christmas while Jimmy was still at home. Santa agreed to make a special trip to the kids so Daddy could be home for everything. Thank you Santa....we couldn't imagine doing it with Daddy home!!

precious moments

These days, however tiring and crazy, are the most precious days, as a mother, I will get. Children are most definitely God's gift to us. My prayer is that I can raise, mold, and shape these two gifts in a way that would be pleasing to God.

To share some of our quiet and precious moments...

Kamryn's Christmas Program

Kamryn had her Christmas program at school on Friday. Everyone did so good! I wish that I would have played around with the lighting on my camera before the program started because the pictures didn't turn out to well.

I was so proud of these precious kids!
